We are following #illumos and #illumos-de
Personally I will only get a timeslot to setup my new Matrix server on
the weekend and I want to wait for the Official Bridge.
So until then I am stuck on Freenode for a bit still but a migration
will happen sooner rather than later.

Looking at the news stories, it certainly seems that freenode is in
trouble. In less than a week 250+ project have apparently migrated to
liberachat, including the most active ones. At this rate freenode will
likely be gone in a few months.
According to https://freenode.logbot.info/oi-dev/stats, it would appear
there's only 18 users who have actually posted 10+ messages on #oi-dev.
This mailing list gets considerably more use. With such little use, is
it worth the effort of migrating at all?
