Ahh, just use binary packages. I hate any kind of building from sources. 
FreeBSD has a fake IPS pkg, also named pkg, but more inspired from similar 
Linux technology (apt, pacman,...) than the original IPS pkg. It's easy to use, 
though. From the manual I saw it's more simple and much easier to understand 
than our IPS pkg.
