Thank you for this info. Using Illumos binaries on Solaris is only a quick and dirty workaround. From my tests it worked but I am glad to use Illumos as prime platform. I do not expect Oracle to include minIO but hope for a 3rd party repository as the Opensource minIO is from what I have seen the best and fastest way to expose a ZFS filesystem to the internet via S3 as a cloud service with all ZFS features.
