Hi.
MySQL libraries, provided by MariaDB 10.1, are used by oi-userland-provided
packages by default. So you'll need database/mariadb-101/library, if you use
those packages (like qt5 or other).

Тема: [OpenIndiana-discuss] MariaDB package(s) question

Hi all,

I want to get rid of MariaDB 10.1, but itt seems impossible (I have
updated OS this morning).

:; uname -rosv
SunOS 5.11 illumos-aaa9aa59eb illumos

:; pkg mediator mysql
MEDIATOR VER. SRC. VERSION IMPL. SRC. IMPLEMENTATION
mysql local 10.3 local mariadb

:; pfexec pkg uninstall -vn database/mariadb-101
database/mariadb-101/client database/mariadb-101/library
Creating Plan (Solver setup): -
pkg uninstall: Unable to remove
'database/mariadb-101/[email protected]' due to the following
packages that depend on it:
   benchmark/[email protected]
   library/apr-util/[email protected]
   library/perl-5/[email protected]
   library/python/[email protected]
   library/[email protected]
   library/[email protected]
   web/php-73/extension/[email protected]

Is it possible at all?

With best regards.
