Hi. There's no documented procedure to update to some 'release', as we don't have releases, just 'snapshots'. You are assumed to run latest bits. Usually, you can just run pkg update.
Possible issues, affecting updates, are documented in http://docs.openindiana.org/release-notes/latest-changes/ . You can also look through 'Release notes' for snapshots - http://docs.openindiana.org/release-notes/2018.04-release-notes/ http://docs.openindiana.org/release-notes/2018.10-release-notes/ http://docs.openindiana.org/release-notes/2019.04-release-notes/ http://docs.openindiana.org/release-notes/2019.10-release-notes/ С уважением, Александр Пыхалов, программист отдела телекоммуникационной инфраструктуры управления информационно-коммуникационной инфраструктуры ЮФУ ________________________________________ От: Harry Putnam <[email protected]> Отправлено: 19 января 2020 г. 18:27 Кому: [email protected] Тема: [OpenIndiana-discuss] how to upgrade from 2018.10 t0 2019.11 using `pkg' Wanting to upgrade from one release to a more recent one. Not having much success with google. Running 2018.10 on one host and 2017.10 on another, I'd like to upgrade both to 2019.11. using the `pkg' tool. Not doing a full install from 2019.11 iso. Is that possible? If so, a few suggestion examples would really help. _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss _______________________________________________ openindiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://openindiana.org/mailman/listinfo/openindiana-discuss
