With latest hipster update 'text/text-utilities' package (based on the
util-linux project) is available.
It contains following simple text tools you may know from GNU/Linux:
usr/bin/colcrt
usr/bin/colrm
usr/bin/column
usr/bin/hexdump
usr/bin/rename
I take it as opportunity to ask following question: What other simple
tools, to which you are used to from other Unix operating systems, you
miss in OpenIndiana?
I am willing to work with you on adding them.
