Hello,
I updated my system last April and the command
$ uname -rosv
SunOS 5.11 illumos-62f1951aca Solaris
does not work! Here is what I get
$ uname -rosv
uname: illegal option -- o
usage: uname [-snrvmapiX]
uname [-S system_name]
So this is a new command line option or what?

Hi Apostolos,
$ /usr/gnu/bin/uname -rosv
SunOS 5.11 illumos-62f1951aca Solaris
$ /usr/bin/uname -rosv
/usr/bin/uname: illegal option -- o
usage: uname [-snrvmapiX]
uname [-S system_name]
So, it depends on your PATH setup. I have set gnu as first.
Regards.
