Check this:
sharectl get smb command | grep netbios_enable
If it's false the switch to true.
sharectl set -p netbios_enable=true smb

When I select the Network to browser the Windows Network shares I get
a message that the share list is not available.
I attempted to get smb/client working by copying the smb.conf.default
to smb.conf and adjusting the settings but smb/client is always
reported as offline.
