If you read the rest of my messages, I did at least make it over to FreeBSD where they have zfs; nonetheless on such an anemic piece of hardware, I won't be running it. All that said, the first chance I have to come back to something Illumos on this machine, I'll probably do it. I've even offered to help with dest/dev on Tribblix, which seems to be the closest open effort to make it happen.
