Ah, yes, also a typical warning for "newcomers" to ZFS-based OSes:Don't
really trust in hardware RAID when you have ZFS.
If your HBAs can provide raw access to the disks (in IT mode,
possibly after reflashing) - better do go this way. In some cases
it was found better to forfeit integrated RAID controllers and
buy a simple JBOD(IT) HBA instead, at all.
