Slight off-topic: is there anything more modern, and is
open source code available for this package? ;)
In the context of today's discussion about the future of
illumos (or at least OI's) compilers, would old binary
packages made by SS12 continue working with a GCC-built
system? For example, is this package expected to work on
GCC-made hipster today, or is it expected to not work? :)
