Hello, Choose Install Additional Drivers/Apply driver updates from the initial menu.
Use: http://dlc.openindiana.org/isos/151a7/oi-dev-151a7-text-x86.iso Now if the kernel driver is already included and being pre-loaded conflicts with the OEM/ISV's newer driver being installed, you have to address this by the GRUB boot loader command: -B disable-[driver name]=true (i.e. -B disable-[mpt_sas|mr_sas|ixgbe|bge|bnxe|etc...]=true) which will disable it in the kernel loading before the installation menu. Also, if you have an older BIOS which 'partitions' lower/upper memory blocks which may confuse the installer during decompressing the bootloader, then usually update the BIOS beforehand. The new Dell *20 (i.e. 320/420/520/620/720/820) and other third-party servers will work >=99.9% of the time with OI (or newer Illumos-based distros), if you follow these initial instructions.
