Hi all, I saved some money to change out the dying SCSI disks in the HP xw8200. I found some Seagate 15k 146gb hd's on ebay, factory refurbished, and ordered them. 300eur later, they arrive.
Now, I fit them in and add the first disk to the mirror, and everything goes fine. I install grub in it, detach the original and reboot to resilver to the second one. Half way through the resilver to the last drive, the first one goes bad. Hardware error bad. Click click click bad. So no more rpool from the first, no rpool yet on the last, and all I have is the drive I previously detached. Any chance of recovering it?
