I hope all will forgive a bit of levity.

Many years ago I typeset "The Story of Mel" and installed it on the company man
pages so that a user typing, "man mel" would be presented w/ "The Story of Mel".

I'd always assumed the story was probably fictional, but in looking it up via
google this evening to show a friend who is of the hardcore, really small,
embedded system persuasion, I discovered that it has bona fides to be a true
story. There's a design document, programming sheet w/ signature and an
acknowledgment in a system manual to support this.

I'd like to propose that Open Indiana preserve "The Story of Mel" as a system
man page. If no one has strong objections and the person maintaining the man
pages agrees, I'll be happy to redo the typesetting and submit it.

Happy New Year to all!
Reg
