I see a known bug as 'time slider does not work'? Is this still the
case and if I update will my automatic backups through zfs stop?

I'm not sure what "sysver" is (and Googling doesn't seem to help..), but if you are looking for the
version you could run "cat /etc/release" or "uname -a".
