Build 147 fails to run standard OSOL 134 procedure of installation as Xen DomU. We have been tracking this feature since Nevada build 75A. --- On Fri, 9/24/10, Alasdair Lumsden <[email protected]> wrote: From: Alasdair Lumsden <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [OpenIndiana-discuss] XEN and Crossbow To: "Discussion list for OpenIndiana" <[email protected]> Date: Friday, September 24, 2010, 2:54 PM To answer all the questions: 1. dom0 support has not been built for OpenIndiana because Oracle have discontinued development of it, and it won't be present in Solaris 11 Express. In theory if some Xen developers came along who were willing to maintain xVM, then it could be resurrected. But unless that happens it probably won't return. Which is a great shame because dom0+ZFS+COMSTAR+Crossbow = killer combo. 2. domU (Running OpenIndiana as a PV guest) is fully supported. This code is being maintained by Oracle and will continue to work. 3. Crossbow is included in OpenIndiana.
