Hi everyone, we have opened a new OS project called Open Three Consortium (www.o3consortium.org) with the goal to develope packages that are based to IHE technical framework (www.ihe.net). We plan to release in the next months these packages: 1. O3-FatBrother, that is an Audit Record Repository (see ATNA profile in ITI domain), just available 2. O3-MARiS, that is a Radiologic Information System (available in next February) 3. O3-DPACS, that is a PACS (available in late spring) 4. O3-RWS, that is a repoting workstation (available in next June) 5. O3-XDS, that is a ebXML Registry/Repository (see XDS profile in ITI domain), available in Aprili after the European IHE connect-a-thon
We belive that the mix Open Source plus Technological Standards (such as DICOM, HL7) and workflow guidelines (such as IHE) are very interesting in healthcare enviroment, and could be the success key to use OS approach in healthcare systems.
