I forgot to submit the log and system information in the last post, now I have been svn updated to the r596 version. In fact, I am not sure whether the pattern of "X" cursor is changed by the Gnome or is affected by the Openchrome driver, so I go back to the r592 version but only find that there is no "X" cursor displayed when startx. It is still a question for me. In the attachment, there files: Xorg/lspci.log ---- output of lspci command Xorg/xorg.conf ---- my xorg.conf with "Load vbe" used Xorg/Xorg.0.log.r592 ---- the Xorg log of openchrome version r592 Xorg/Xorg.0.log.r596 ---- the Xorg log of openchrome version r596
And my OS is Debian Lenny with lasted updates,my video card is P4M900. 在 2008-09-27六的 12:00 [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Message: 5 > Date: Fri, 26 Sep 2008 22:18:35 +0200 > From: Xavier Bachelot <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [Openchrome-users] two things noticed after update to 594 > version > To: cylinc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: [email protected] > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 > > cylinc wrote: > > after update to 594 version, make, make install.Vim the xorg.conf, commet > > the "Load vbe" in section "Module" and set the HWcursor on. > > Removing the 'Load "vbe"' line from the module section is not mandatory, > but you need to make sure the device section doesn't have an 'Option > "VBEModes"' line.
