But it's not Alan's process that confuses me. I've been on your list for years now, and think I understand the way AW works. I also appreciate it, and your efforts, along with most all other members.

It's the download page that's possibly confusing. At the time of this writing, it still has buttons and uses terms like "nightly..." and "latest...".
I think this legacy layout tends to reenforce the typical stable vs bleeding edge themes that other shops use. It doesn't apply any more.

I think that a rethinking of the layout and words here may reduce the need for you to clarify your methodology every few years.
