I've moved a bulk mail job to OpenBD. The process feeds 300 messages
thru CFMAIL every 2 minutes.
The process seems to go well for a while, then mail.log starts to
accumulate messages like the following:
06/03/15 09:46.03: MailOutFail: Failed to delete
/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/myapp/WEB-INF/bluedragon/work/cfmail/spool/1425661371267.tmpsend
This appears to happen when the spool folder reaches a thousand or more
entries...
If I bump Tomcat, then the issue goes away for a while.
The permissions on the spool folder are 777.
If I search my postfix logs for the email address from the entry JUST
ABOVE this entry, I see that this poor soul has received more than one
message within minutes of each other.
Does a failure in deleting a tmpsend record mean that the same email
will be sent over and over until the delete succeeds?
