Hello all,

My name is Michael Kruger and I would like to help contribute to the OI
project by doing whatever I can towards improving the state of OI's end
user documentation. I'm also willing to help with QA testing.

While I don't have any development experience, I have written plenty of
sysadmin oriented documentation (mostly Vmware Vsphere and Windows
related, but some RHEL 4,5,6 and Solaris 6,7,8 in there too). I also
have a little bit of exposure to software configuration management,
release management, etc.

Currently I am reading my way through the OpenSolaris Bible and thought
giving back to the community by writing some OI tutorials and end user
documentation would be a great way to help solidify and increase my Unix
admin knowledge.

This would be the first time I have contributed towards any kind of open
source project, so I am not sure where or how to start. Please guide me
in how to begin.

Thank you,

Michael

This is a resend of my earlier email with some more info.

Found the official OpenSolaris docs. I think these are open source.

Perhaps we could import them into a GIT repo or something.
