The kart is going far before the horse... Distributions like OI benefit moreso when the baseline requirements are in place for Xorg USERLAND device driver migration and testing.
If OI migrates to XServer 1.14.x, then the FOSS developers & OpenSXCE advocaters are more inclined to assist in kernel support. Sonicle has spearheaded the effort by migrating to Xserver 1.14.x for XStreamOS. Can OI be updated as well for Xorg device driver porting and testing efforts?
