It seems that others have been there. Does someone know how to fix this?
pkgsrc [current] Firefox24 is building and running now on sunos,
I never could seem to use mozilla-jemalloc though (same issue, and I
couldn't be bothered to find out why).
You may wish to wade through the patches (which should be mirrored on
https://github.com/joyent/pkgsrc/tree/trunk/www/firefox24) for pertinent
sunos platform fixes.
Thanks.
I'm going to look a bit more on FF 10 from JDS. For now I stuck on
ld: fatal: relocation error: R_386_GOTOFF: file
../../dist/lib/libxpcomglue_s.a(nsCategoryCache.o): symbol vtable for
nsCategoryObserver: a GOT relative relocation must reference a local symbol
while linking libxul.so.
If I can't fix it, I think I'll start looking at FF24 from pkgsrc.
For the record: packages dependent on FF are
pkg:/developer/gnome/devhelp
pkg:/gnome/help-viewer/yelp
pkg:/gnome/media/gnome-media-player
pkg:/library/libproxy/libproxy-mozjs
pkg:/library/python-2/python-gnome-extras-24 - will deprecate this....
pkg:/library/python-2/python-gnome-extras-26 - have almost working component
pkg:/web/browser/w3m
