Hello. Please, review python-extra-26 package. I convert it to meta-package and extract numpy and pyrex packages from it.https://github.com/pyhalov/oi-userland/compare/python-extra
This is all 32 bit, in May I already complained that people need also 64bit packages, esp.numpy, scipy, mysql, MysqlDB, etc., BIG DATA is the buzzword here (although I'm still convinced that using python for big data is the wrong approach, but I'm fairly alone with that opinion here...). It should become a standard that packages which have a high probabilty to be used with more than 4GB should also be available in 64bit in all distributions. -- Dr.Udo Grabowski Inst.f.Meteorology a.Climate Research IMK-ASF-SAT www.imk-asf.kit.edu/english/sat.php KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology http://www.kit.edu Postfach 3640,76021 Karlsruhe,Germany T:(+49)721 608-26026 F:-926026
