I have picked up a strange limit to np.in1d():

b.shape
Out[101]: (17520,)
a = b[0:42]
np.in1d(b,a)

TypeError Traceback (most recent call last)

TypeError: requested sort not available for type
But this works:
a = b[0:41]
np.in1d(b,a)
Out[105]: array([ True, True, True, ..., False, False, False], dtype=bool)

In other words the limit seems to be 41 elements for a. Is this a bug or am I
getting something wrong?
