I seemed to have confused matters. Thanks for your patience. Let me try to explain this differently with the correct wording.
I have been trying to create a rule to redirect a subdomain name to a web page under the main domain. For example, I want http://trial.google.com to redirect to http://google.com/test I am thinking that the URL Rewrite feature in IIS could accomplish this. However I am not sure how to write the rule? Also would the rule go on the server or the site in IIS? Or is there another option?
