I can confirm that, although only with the shr renderer. With the w3m, renderer, it does not crash for me. I'm marking it as a notmuch bug for now, although I suspect it really needs to be forwarded to the emacs BTS when we figure out how to pass the HTML straight to shr without involving notmuch.
