   <!-- Answer -->
   This issue was recently fixed in a merged pull request
([#37716](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/37716)). The root cause was
that the World Map visualization didn't restore the original fill color on
mouse out, especially for countries with no data. The fix adds explicit
mouseover and mouseout handlers that store the original fill color in a data
attribute and restore it when the mouse leaves, ensuring the highlight resets
properly for all countries, including those without data. You can review the
implementation and confirm if your environment includes this change by checking
for the update from PR #37716, merged on 2026-02-06. If you're still seeing the
issue in Edge after this fix, it may be worth verifying that your deployment
includes this patch and that there are no browser-specific overrides
interfering with the new event handlers.
