@garydgregory, I think this kind of information would be better placed in a "Contributing Guide". Our build uses quite a few Maven plugins. While handling failures from Surefire is fairly routine, issues related to Antora, BND Baseline, Docker, or Spotless tend to require more specialized knowledge. It might be helpful to add a FAQ section to the guide to cover these cases. I don't think we've confirmed whether the Docker-based tests run successfully on macOS or Windows.
