Following [a vote](https://lists.apache.org/thread/qj1zcy9mhd1lnfhkrm5wy3yqn0sqvwlh) the [Apache Logging Services team](https://logging.apache.org/team-list.html) has moved Chainsaw into the **dormant** state (see [vote result](https://lists.apache.org/thread/29kx7oclwo7r16f7l4wk4w1pwtkk500z)). For Chainsaw users this means that: - Bugs and feature requests are unlikely to be addressed. - Security reports **will be** addressed. See [Reporting vulnerabilities](https://logging.apache.org/security.html#reporting) for instructions on how to report them. - The project is unlikely to make new releases. - If you are willing to step up to maintain Chainsaw, please contact us on the `d...@logging.apache.org` mailing list (see [Maintainer discussions](https://logging.apache.org/support.html#discussions-maintainer) for more details). - If the project finds new contributors, it can return to the `ACTIVE` state.
