Some people who are invited to be committer or PMC member, might be very excited and share the fact of being invited before the PMC does. While there is nothing wrong with it - if they accepted the invitation and we do not ask for it in the template of invitation, it might be seen as "sharing private communication" (the template mentions that they might accept or decline in private). Also it takes away a bit of an air from the official communication by the PMC which should be unexpected and celebrated.
