ThreadPool metrics are bound to the global registry [here](https://github.com/apache/accumulo/blob/2.1/core/src/main/java/org/apache/accumulo/core/util/threads/ThreadPools.java#L710). I'm not sure if these meters will get published via the pluggable MeterRegistry implementations or not.
