Ubuntu for my 83 year old pastor, Kubuntu for his 79 year old wife. I've still got Ubuntu for OBS and daily browsing. Been using Fedora for 18 months too, updated to version 36.
Fedora desktop 12GB RAM vs Ubuntu 20 desktop 128GB RAM For running Mathematica and daily browsing with Firefox (a dozen tabs) and Brave (2 tabs) and several office documents and spreadsheets it seems to me that Fedora requires less restarts. Most often you get what you pay for. When it comes to OS's, you're paying to get a headache with Windows.
