Michael L had asked toning about video editing software on Linux. I don't
have a huge amount of experience, but here is the article I had found.

https://itsfoss.com/best-video-editing-software-linux/

I had been using OpenShot. It was okay except it kept crashing, possibly
because it was over the air TV recordings, and there were occasional blips
in the recording. When I upgraded it had free-form text boxes for things
like video and audio codecs to use. I'm not sure if there was something
wrong with my install or that's how it was supposed to be.

Kdenlive was one recommended as a replacement. I haven't had a lot of
experience.

The article also lists others and goes into more depth on them below.

Let us know if you need any additional information. Maybe someone will
have more experience.
