Honestly, just saw it. But it sounds like they’ve pulled CentOS 8 access (save 
for this “CentOS Stream”). I guess there’s a limit to how long you will allow 
something to compete against your money making equivalent. Yet the original 
CentOS founder is creating an alternative still based on source builds from 
RHEL 8.

Glad I started hedging my bets with Debian/Ubuntu a few years ago. But there’s 
always the possibility Microsoft may scoop up Ubuntu some day. And this change 
with CentOS might trigger other nearby star formations to this effect. 

Oddly enough, I had just been taking a look at the release of Zabbix 5.2 and 
thought it odd that the only distro that had listed for the 5.2 downloads was 
RHEL 8.2.
