Hi guys, At our last meeting I mentioned to Dru that Automotive Linux was out there for manufacturers that wanted to use Linux for their projects (engine control module included). Something over 10 years ago I had a conversation with a friend of mine that works for one of the big three in the software world. The topic at the time was security and in some cases the lack thereof for the CanBus system.
Thought I would pass along a URL for looking it over: https://www.automotivelinux.org/ I have not dug through the site or code yet. It is not likely to be the best candidate for the browser war topic. I didn't happen to see one of my past employers being a part of that. It is possible one of their suppliers is in that list.
