I had to call Consumer Cellular to have it enabled on my phone. I use it so seldom, I figured they might have it shut down by default. When I was asking about it I did offer that I understand that I might have to pay extra for extra data use (their cap is low, but so is my use), but for the first time in years I went over the 1G (for under $10/mo) and itcost $19 for 3G, that I probably won't use up this month. That is data alone. My normal bill counting everything is normallu under $30/mo. BUt then again I am retired and cheap.
