I had a TV pretty much die. It had problems anyway so I got a new TV, happens to run on Android. I'd like to interact with my Mythbuntu system through it. A little Googling and top results seemed to be MythBox plugin installed under Kodi. However, it gave an error on startup "No usable temporary directory found in" <list of directories>.
The error has been reported to Mythbox since at least 2015, but the project doesn't appear to have been updated since 2011.... I can eventually get to what I want to watch through the DLNA service, but that isn't near as nice. I can probably download the Mythbox source and poke at it till I get something usable, but just wondering if anyone knew something better, Also since I'm brand new to Android TV, any pointers on cool stuff to do, or gotchas, much appreciated.
