I'll be updating this post frequently over the next day or two as I receive
replies. I know I have a lot of other updates to post, and I am getting to
them (slowly), but I think this needs priority until we have a location
conformed.

Definite "no"s:

Williamson County Library System, Event Hall in Franklin
   - must be a 501c3 registered in Williamson County to even be considered
   - library meeting rooms are reserved on weekends for library events
(even if nothing is currently scheduled on their calendars)

Probably "no"s:

Nashville Technology Council
   - changed their mind since I met with them in mid-March about being open
weekends/hosting user groups?
Vanderbilt
   - Howard sez "not a chance" of reserving the NLUG room; need to confirm
with Jonathan Sheehan (the guy who reserves the room for us)
Davidson County Library System
   - see Williamson county? I'll check with the Green Hills library to be
sure

Pending:

Make Nashville
   - Amy, can you namedrop, hype us up, and put me in touch with one of
your contacts there?
Nashville Software School
   - Waiting on reply; if they welcome us with open arms, everyone
attending the study sessions owes Tilghman a beer for suggesting it.
Watkins
   - Waiting on reply

Other ideas:

Iron Yard
   - May be too close to downtown Nashville & the CMAs for the first
session in June, parking is apparently an issue
???
   - Your suggestion here

Revised dates, all are Saturdays:

10 June (to avoid initial CMA mayhem 03 June, plus John will be out of town)
24 June
08 July (to avoid 4th of July five day holiday "weekend")
22 July
12 August (or 05 August if that works better for hosting venue)
26 August (or 19 August if that works better for hosting venue)

We'd still like sometime in the early afternoon for a start time (1:00pm?
2:00pm? later? sooner?), 60-90 minutes for each session, and ~15 minutes on
either side for load-in/setup and teardown/load-out.

Comments/criticisms/suggestions?
