I'd have to agree, XenServer is much nicer than VMWare, though you'll need to 
initially administer it via a Windows client (later you can use XOA to 
administer it via the web). I don't have much experience with KVM, but since 
that is a Linux hypervisor is has native management tools.

(xenserver.org) going on. Xenserver != Xen (though they share the Xen 
hypervisor). One thing I particularly like about Xenserver (especially with 
version 7 now released) is that for free, it includes many of the “enterprise” 
features that you have to pay for with ESXi (like hot migration between 
xenserver hosts, etc). Having many dishes to choose from makes it funner (for

I'm enjoying it so far. Just getting started with it. It's my first ESXi host. 
Taking the leap from Workstation. I found this blog post before I bought it

ESXi installed without any issues. I'm doing some upgrades on my home network.
