Thanks, yes, we have been using the DBI:ODBC.  Not specifying anything
other than the ODBC DSN, or specifying undef for username and password
returns "Login failed for user ''.".  Specifying the user but no password
(or undef for the password) returns Login failed for user 'our-user-name'.
