I was at DragonCon helping with the EFF track a few weeks ago and we had a panel discussion on systemD. The panel packed the room and there was tremendous interest from those for and against and who just had no opinion but had heard of the controversy.
I would like to do similar panels at PhreakNIC. The advantage is noone really needs to do a presentation and it can be more of a discussion format with the audience. I would love to have Wesley if he is free sometime on the 6th or 7th(I will reach out to him separately) but I was wondering if anyone else who knew about it might be willing to sit in on the subject to discuss it and take audience questions. I admit I still know little about system D (or even containers) and every bit adds to my knowledge. As far as that goes a discussion of SELINUX would not be amiss ether as I am still one of those people that disables it for what little headaches I got from it in the past. Maybe that should change. Anyway if any of your are up for it please let me know. (Dagmar is one who has agreed to sit in and discuss it) Ben P.S.: This year we are shooting for around 30 1 hour slots (we have two tracks). We have about 5 slots left of the 30 so please submit talks if you would like to do any presentations as they will be full soon.
