FYI: I've seen many Dell laptop power supplies that has that as the first part of the cable in recent years. I hadn't seen it on a printer before, but I haven't seen many printers lately. (Vanderbilt instituted a policy about 3 years ago of having large departmental printers, unless a case is made to justify it.)
