Hello! I'm a network infrastructure recruiter at TEKsystems here in Nashville. I wanted to reach out to this group for several different reasons. I am slowly but surely trying to network with the Linux community in the Nashville IT market. I would really appreciate it if I could get in to contact with any level Linux IT professional to get their perspective and thoughts on the Linux market locally. Also, I have two positions that I am currently working on that are heavy Linux involved. One with a healthcare client, and one with a non-healthcare client. Below are brief descriptions:
-Linux Admin with at least 3 years of Linux (RHEL- Red Hat Enterprise Linux) support experience. -Operations and maintenance (OS patching and hardening). -Scripting. -VMware or vSphere. -CFEngine/Puppet/Chef/Spacewalk. -Linux Admin with experience in both Linux and Windows. -The position will consist of the consultant doing at least 50% Windows work, and the other half will consist of patching and Linux. -The client wants to transition their environment to be more Linux heavy, so someone who has more strength in Linux for a long term perspective is preferred. -Puppet/Chef scripting. -Automation on the Linux platform. -Setting up servers from scratch. Please feel free to shoot me an email or give me a call! *Becka Pratt* | IT Recruiter- Network Infrastructure Services T 615.886.1108 | *[email protected] <[email protected]>* T 800.609.5537 | F 615.886.1170 565 Marriott Drive, Bld. 1, Suite 150, Nashville, TN 37214 -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
