Hi everybody. Hope you are all well and enjoying your biking. These questions are related to 650 Nighthawk 1983 on. I would like to know what the rear tyre size is and also what is the width of the alloy rim? I have noticed from photos that the earlier 650 custom models seem to have a bulkier chopper type tyre and that 1983 on models the tyre looks thinner? Is it possible to interchange the earlier Comstar wheels (chain drive)? The reason I am asking these questions is that I am trying to decide on which bike to base a custom project, this coming winter. I want a bike that is quick and light and can cruise about 80mph. The other contender is a GS 650.
