Thanks for -g replacement, it worked! But still, instead of repetedly removing that command, couldn’t nm-applet be changed so that profiles aren’t tied to device by default anymore (after all, users can change that if they ever find it useful that way)? Or if you end coming with a really good reason for this default, at least an option not to be the default for new profiles in nm-applet?
Are nm-applet devs on this list or is there a more appropriate place to ask? Thank you anyway!
