No need - you can use Moonlight. However, due to the lack of any use of Silverlight anywhere, I've never been able to fully work out how compatible Moonlight is. I only chanced upon it when I wanted to use ITV Player under Linux, and back in those days Moonlight didn't support video (think it does now though) so it didn't solve my problem anyway. Thankfully ITV ditched their Silverlight-based player, although there was a very useful Firefox extension which would play the underlying video file. Given that even Microsoft have abandoned Silverlight this is purely academic anyway. Chris
