aieee, this should have been applied before the mvneta patch set (as mentioned in the covering email to that set, as well as the cover message you quoted above) because the mvneta patch set makes these races visible. Well, I guess folk are going to have to put up with bisect issues if they hit a commit between the two merges in your tree.
