And really all we need to know is confirm whether this: -#define MERGEABLE_BUFFER_MIN_ALIGN_SHIFT ((PAGE_SHIFT + 1) / 2) +#define MERGEABLE_BUFFER_MIN_ALIGN_SHIFT (PAGE_SHIFT / 2 + 1) affects performance in a measureable way.
