Hi, I have a board pulled from a sun box which uses the cassini driver (its the one with 2 cassini chips and a symbios 896 scsi chip behind an intel pci bridge, with copper connections, I think its sun part X4422A). I am using the driver from kernel.org 2.6.14.2.
Kernel messages on startup: cassini.c:v1.4 (1 July 2004) eth1: Sun Cassini+ (64bit/33MHz PCI/Cu) Ethernet[9] 00:03:ba:7a:94:b1 eth2: Sun Cassini+ (64bit/33MHz PCI/Cu) Ethernet[5] 00:03:ba:7a:94:b2 attempting to use the card with ipv6 traffic works, but spits out messages: ICMPv6 hw checksum failed ICMPv6 hw checksum failed hw tcp v6 csum failed hw tcp v6 csum failed hw tcp v6 csum failed .... I don't know if it just needs to be told not to calulate the checksums for v6 packets, or what.
